Sinopsis / Synopsis

Red sube al tren. Si pudiera desvanecerse en ese mismo instante, lo haría. Todo está apagado, irreal. Los recuerdos se mezclan con el paisaje. El tiempo y el espacio se colapsan. Una niña corre hacia una casa que cruje. La hierba salvaje crece en el tren. Red se abre paso y se enfrenta a su pasado.

Red boards the train. If she could vanish right then and there, she would. Everything is off, unreal. Memories blend together with the landscape. Time and space collapse. A little girl runs towards a creaking house. Wild grass grows in the train. Red wades through and confronts her past.

ELISE AUGARTEN (31/07/1992, París, Francia) Estudió arte y diseño en Estienne, La Sorbonne y la Universidad Jean Jaurès. En 2017, obtuvo un máster en Creación y Desarrollo de Animación en el Institut Supérieur Couleur, Image, Design (ISCID.) Su película de tesis, "The Deep End", ha participado en más de 30 festivales y ha recibido el premio al mejor cortometraje de animación en el FIC Silente, la mención de honor del jurado en Animasyros y el premio a la obra más destacada en el Festival Internacional de Animación de Taichung (TIAF).

ELISE AUGARTEN (31/07/1992, Paris, France) She studied art and design at Estienne, La Sorbonne, and Jean Jaurès University. In 2017, she received a Masters in Animation Creation and Development from the Institut Supérieur Couleur, Image, Design (ISCID.) Her thesis film, "The Deep End", has been featured in over 30 festivals, and given the award for Best Animated Short Film at FIC Silente, the Honorable Mention from the jury at Animasyros and the award for Outstanding Work at the Taichung International Animation Festival (TIAF).
