Sinopsis / Synopsis

Después de casi cuarenta años de ocupación marroquí, los niños saharauis sufren las consecuencias de vivir como refugiados en una de las regiones más inhóspitas del desierto y, aunque no han conocido la guerra, muchos de ellos han perdido a sus familiares más cercanos y anhelan volver a su hogar.

After 40 years of Moroccan occupation, the Saharan children live suffering the consequences of living as refugees in one of the most inhospitable regions of the desert. And although they haven’t experienced a war, lots of them have lost their closer relatives and they long for going back to their home.

JOSEP SANMARTÍN (Valencia, 30/08/1979) Trabajó como asistente de producción para DACSA y el Centro Reina Sofía realizando ficción sobre exclusión social, destacando “Ley del silencio y humillación, para finalmente escribir el guión y dirigir el comercial “Por un mundo mejor”. Desarrolló trabajos de fotografía, sonido y dirección artística en teatro, cine y documental para Macaco Group, destacando el documental “Haunted minds” y el videoclip “Into the knives” para el grupo musical The shore. Ha trabajado como productor para el documental “Distancias” producido por Turanga Films y ha desarrollado distintos trabajos para youtube grabados con móvil, destacando el mini-documental “Cordero a 50 Euros”.

JOSEP SANMARTÍN (Valencia, Spain, 08/30/1979) He worked as a production assistant for DACSA and Centro de Arte Reina Sofia making fiction on social exclusion, highlighting "Law of silence and humiliation”. Finally he wrote and directed to both companies the commercial "For a better world". Developed works of photography, sound and art direction in theatre, film and documentary for Macaco Group, highlighting the documentary "Haunted minds" and the video "Into the knives" for the music group The Shore. He worked as a producer for the documentary "Distances" produced by Turanga Films and developed various recorded mobile works for youtube, highlighting "Lamb to 50 Euros."
