Las Abuelas de la Ruta Escondida desentierran su pasado con memorias y saberes. A través de sus recuerdos mágicos, reviven historias de tradiciones que se han perdido con el tiempo, desde recetas ancestrales hasta la cura del mal aire. Recordaremos la sabiduría que llevan nuestras abuelas y la importancia de preservar nuestras raíces.

The Grandmothers of the Hidden Route unearth their past with memories and knowledge. Through their magical memories, they revive stories of traditions that have been lost over time, from ancestral recipes to the cure for bad air. We will remember the wisdom that our grandmothers carry and the importance of preserving our roots.

Biofilmografia / Biofilmography

CÉSAR CÁRDENAS (Quito, Ecuador, 13/01/1995) Director de arte con 5 años de experiencia, ha trabajado en cortometrajes de ficción y animación stop motion, largometrajes y publicidad. Simultáneamente sigue el camino del teatro con marionetas, crea escenografías efímeras, maquillaje fx, pinta con óleo y con tintes de flores y frutos. Su cortometraje documental Surcos ha sido ganador a mejor cortometraje nacional en el Festival TuriCine 2023.

CÉSAR CÁRDENAS (Quito, Ecuador, 13/01/1995) Art director with 5 years of experience, he has worked on fiction and stop motion animation short films, feature films and advertising. Simultaneously, he follows the path of theater with puppets, creates ephemeral sets, fx makeup, paints with oil and with dyes of flowers and fruits. His documentary short film Surcos won best national short film at the TuriCine 2023 festival.
