“Año 1411. En una fría noche de Abril, el dominico Vicente Ferrer llegaba a la humilde población de Hellín, al sureste de Castilla. Sus predicaciones inquisitorias no solo provocaron el miedo entre los habitantes de la aldea. Algo en ellos se había despertado, pero ni siquiera lo sabían... Hoy, la Tamborada de Hellín es una de las tradiciones más importantes y multitudinarias de Castilla la Mancha. Su origen y evolución nos llevará hacia el sentimiento, la pasion y el amor a un instrumento”

"Silence, 'La tamborada de Hellin' (Drums of Hellin), a song of freedom. Year 1411, on a cold April's night, the Dominican friar, Vicent Ferrer, reached to the humble village of Hellin, in the South East of Castilla. His inquistorial preaching caused fear to the inhabitants.
Something had been aroused in them, but they even known it... Now 'La tamborada de Hellin' is one of the most important and multitudinous traditions in Castilla La Mancha. Its origin and evolution lead us to the feeling, the passion and the love for the instrument"

ISMAEL OLIVARES (Albacete, 22/11/1983) Desde niño muestra interés y emoción por el mundo cinematográfico, pero no es hasta los años universitarios, concretamente en Granada y Florencia (Italia), donde se ve empujado a la necesidad de escribir y guionizar sus historias. En 2008 funda Prosonarte, productora artística audiovisual. En su deseo de contar la historia de la Tamborada de Hellín (Albacete), ciudad a la que se siente muy ligado, sueña con la realización de un docufiction basado en el origen y la evolución de esta tradición. Tras más de 3 años de sufrido trabajo, nace SILENCIO.

ISMAEL OLIVARES (Albacete, Spain, 11/22/1983) He always showed interest and passion for cinema since he was a child. Years later, when he studied at the university, he felt the need to write and convert his stories on scripts. In 2008, he founded a productions company, Prosonarte. He began with a new project about the popular tradition drums sound known  as Tamborada de Hellín. He dreamt of making a docufiction based on the origins and evolution of Taborada de Hellín. After three years of hard work, Silencio was born.
