Sinopsis / Synopsis

Un hombre comienza a obsesionarse con las tormentas solares y con el tiempo, y empieza a comportarse con extremada lentitud en todos sus movimientos. Posteriormente, conoce a una mujer, la cual también terminará convirtiéndose en otra de sus obsesiones. Y su comportamiento irá siendo cada vez más extraño e imprevisible.

A man becomes obsessed with solar storms and time, and starts behaving extremely slow in all his movements. Later, he meets a woman, who also ends up becoming another of his obsessions. And his behaviour starts getting increasingly bizarre and unpredictable.

FERNANDO RÍO LORDA (Avilés, 16/12/1967) En 1995 cursa Cinematografía en la Universidad de Oviedo y la Escuela de Cine de Madrid. Ha escrito y dirigido los cortometrajes “Mister Dogma” (1999, Primer Premio Nacional y Trofeo al Mejor Guión en el XXIII Certamen Nacional de Video de Palencia), “Suerte Suprema” (1998, Premio “Día d´Asturies” en el 36 Festival Internacional de Cine de Gijón, “ El Regalo de Varenka” (2001, Primer Premio en el Certamen de Cortometajes de Rentería 2002, Segundo Premio en el Festival de Cortometrajes ART NALON 2002, Premio al Mejor Montaje y Premio Mejor Banda Sonora en VII Festival Jóvenes Realizadores de Zaragoza), “Nunca estarás lejos” (2000) y “El Empleado del Mes” (1996). Ha escrito y dirigido ocho spots publicitarios : Vinos Pinord, Planet Bowling, Ayuntamiento de Oviedo, Gráficas Rigel, Supermercados El Árbol, IMQ, etc... Actualmente ha dirigido, escrito y compuesto BSO del Largometraje “Lentamente” (2013).

FERNANDO RÍO LORDA (Avilés, SPAIN, 12/16/1967) In 1995 he studied Cinematography by the University of Oviedo and Madrid Film School. He has written and directed several short films: "Mister Dogma" (1999, National Award and Trophy for the Best Screenplay at the XXIII National Video Contest of Palencia), "Supreme Luck" (1998, winner of the "Day d'Asturies" in the 36 International Film Festival of Gijón), "The Gift of Varenka" (2001, First Prize in the Competition of Rentería Short Films, Second Prize at the Short Film Festival 2002 ART NALON and Prize for Best Editing and Best Soundtrack at Young Filmmakers Festival VII Zaragoza), "You will never be far" (2000), "The Employee of the Month" (1996). He has written and directed eight spots: Pinord Wines, Planet Bowling, City hall of Oviedo, Supermarkets The Tree, etc... Nowadays, he has written, directed and composed OST of the Film Slowly (2013).
