GERARDO GARRIDO (1966, ESPAÑA) debuta como director en “La Magia de las Pompas”. Es el noveno hijo de una familia numerosa, donde casi todos los hermanos han trabajado en el mundo del cine, del teatro y de la televisión. Con tan solo quince años asistió a ver un espectáculo de pompas de jabón realizado por el maestro Pep Bou. Desde entonces, quedó tan fascinado por las pompas que ha investigado sobre ellas, y ha buscado a un nutrido grupo de científicos para que nos expliquen todo lo que se sabe sobre esos seres tan leves como efímeros.

GERARDO GARRIDO (1966, SPAIN) makes his directorial debut in “La Magia de las Pompas”. He is the ninth child in a large family, where almost all the brothers have worked in cinema, theater and television. At just fifteen years old, he attended a soap bubble show performed by Pep Bou. Since then, he has been so fascinated by the bubbles that he has investigated them, and has sought out a large group of scientists to explain to us everything that is known about these beings as light as ephemeral.
