Sinopsis / Synopsis

A raíz de una maleta aparecida en el domicilio familiar de Francisco Martínez Gascón, su nieta realiza una investigación que tomará forma de tesis doctoral sobre su abuelo, “Kautela”. Descubrimos gran cantidad de fotografías y documentos inéditos que demuestran que Martínez Gascón recorrió la Guerra Civil española en el bando nacional.

As a result of a suitcase that appeared at the family home of Francisco Martínez Gascón, his granddaughter conducts research that will take the form of a doctoral thesis on her grandfather, "Kautela". We discovered a large number of unpublished photographs and documents that show that Martínez Gascón toured the Spanish Civil War on the national side.

Biofilmografia / Biofilmography

Patricia Roda (Granada, ESPAÑA, 1978) estudió dirección cinematográfica en el CECC (Barcelona). Como directora, con el documental “El viaje de las reinas”, ganó la Biznaga de plata en el Festival de Cine de Málaga. Es miembro de la Junta Directiva de CIMA (Asociación de Mujeres Cineastas y de Medios Audiovisuales). En 2014 participó en DOC. España con su largometraje documental 'El viaje de las reinas'. Ha trabajado también como directora de producción y productora ejecutiva en diferentes películas de ficción y documentales, entre los que destacan, “Fleta tenor mito”, “Marcelino, el mejor payaso del mundo” o “Cineclub”, por el que obtuvo el premio Gaudí a la Mejor Dirección de Producción en 2010.

Patricia Roda (Granada, SPAIN, 1978) studied film directing at the CECC (Barcelona). As a director, with the documentary “The queens’ journey”, she won the Silver Biznaga at the Malaga Film Festival. She is a member of the Board of Directors of CIMA (Association of Women Filmmakers and Audiovisual Media). In 2014 he participated in DOC. Spain with his documentary feature film 'The Journey of the Queens'. She has also worked as production director and executive producer on different fiction films and documentaries, including "Fleta tenor mito", "Marcelino, the best clown in the world" or "Cineclub", for which she won the Gaudí award. for Best Production Direction in 2010.
