Sinopsis / Synopsis

Katya y María son hermanas. Los hermanos no siempre ven las cosas de la misma manera pero en su caso las diferencias son profundas. En un cruce de caminos filosófico y espiritual, explorarán como continuar su viaje y su relación.

Katya and Maria are sisters. Sisters don't always see eye to eye but in their case, the differences run deep. They stand at a philosophic and spiritual cross roads and need to explore how to continue on the journey.

DANIEL “SOLARIS” MELGUIZO (Madrid, 11/05/1975) Lleva 20 de sus 40 años de edad involucrado en el mundo del cine y la televisión. En 1996 dirigió su primer corto en 16mm, “Tú, tu cerveza y lo grande que eres”. Fundó la productora Solaris Film en el año 2000. Su primer largo documental, “New Dominican York”, fue seleccionado, entre otros festivales, en Valladolid en la Seminci en 2008. Nominado dos veces para los NY Emmy’s, actualmente vive y trabaja como Editor y Director de Fotografía en Nueva York.

DANIEL “SOLARIS” MELGUIZO (Madrid, SPAIN, 05/11/1975) Has spent 20 of his 40 years within the worlds of television and film. In 1996 he produced his first 16mm short, Tu Cerveza y lo Grande que Eres. He founded Solaris Film Productions in 2000. His first documentary feature, “New Dominican York” was screened in Seminci 2008, among others. He was nominated for a New York Emmy in 2011 for his report Our Lady of Guadalupe, and again in 2015 for NBC Telemundo “trbajando para ti” promos. Currently he is living in New York City freelancing as an editor and DP.
