Sinopsis / Synopsis

Helga, una madre soltera de treinta años, lucha por salir adelante cada día. Un día, reflexionando sobre su infancia, empieza a conocerse a sí misma y las cosas que realmente importan en la vida.

Helga, a recently divorced, single mother in her thirties, struggles to cope with everyday life. One day, when reflecting on her childhood memories, she is pushed to acknowledge herself and the things that matter the most in life.

TINNA HRAFNSDÓTTIR (Reikiavik, ISLANDIA, 1975) es una directora y productora islandesa de cine y teatro. Ha sido nominada en dos ocasiones a los Premios Edda como mejor actriz, cursa un MBA en la Universidad de Reykjavik, dirige su propia compañía de teatro independiente, Háaloftid, además de una productora cinematográfica, Freyja Filmwork. "Helga" es su primer cortometraje como directora.

TINNA HRAFNSDÓTTIR (Reykjavík, ICELAND, 1975) is an Icelandic director and producer both in theater and films. She is also a two time Edda Awards nominated actress, holds a MBA degree from Reykjavik University, runs her own independent theater company, Háaloftid, and film production company, Freyja Filmwork. "Helga" is her first film as a director.
