Sinopsis / Synopsis

La escasez de recursos energéticos y la escalada de precios que vienen sufriendo todas las fuentes de energía, desde el petróleo hasta el gas convencional, ha propiciado la aparición de una nueva técnica de extracción: el fracking o fractura hidráulica. Este método de extracción ha generado una gran alarma social debido a sus consecuencias sobre el medio ambiente y la salud humana.

Energetic resources scarcity in combination with the raise of prices, from oil to gas, has promoted the usage of new extraction technique: fracking or hydraulic fracturing. This extracting method has generated social alarm related to its impact on the environment and human health.

EDU GLEZ (Bilbao, 08/03/1973) Licenciado en Bellas artes. Creador de Tropofilms, productora con la que realiza varios documentales; Como se hizo LOPE (2010), Euskal Herria: La deuda oculta (2011) o Life is a Wonderful Shit (2012). También es realizador de televisión y director de multitud de videoclips para grupos como Esne Beltza, Brigada Improductiva, The Solanos o Patxuko Naiz. Sus cortometrajes han ganado y han sido seleccionados en múltiples festivales; Hambruna 2014 (2014), Pequeño (2012), Esnesaltzailearena (2010), 15 días en Agosto (2005) o El Anchoa: El terror de El Pardo (2004), entre otros.

EDU GLEZ (Bilbao, 08/03/1973), Bachelor of Fine Arts, is the founder of Tropofilms, a production company which with has made several documentaries. “Como se hizo LOPE” (2010); “Euskal Herria: La deuda oculta” (2011); or “Life is a Wonderful Shit” (2012). He is also TV producer and has directed several music videos for bands such as Esne Beltza, Brigada Improductiva, The Solanos or Patxuko Naiz. His short movies won and were selected in multiple festivals. Hambruna (2014), Pequeño (2012), Esnesaltzailearena (2010), 15 días en Agosto (2005) and El Anchoa: El terror de El Pardo (2004) are some of them.
