Sinopsis / Synopsis

En un descampado industrial, dos jóvenes esperan atados a un árbol para evitar que sea talado. Completamente desconocidos y con personalidades bien diferentes, los dos comparten un mismo objetivo, un mismo espacio, y un mismo día, que les hará darse cuenta de que comparten un vacío interior similar.

In an industrial clearing, two young guys wait tied to a tree to prevent it from being cut down. Completely unknown and with very different personalities, these two young guys share a common goal, a common space, and a common day that will make them realize that they share a similar inner emptiness.

ADRIÀ VILUMARA (Barcelona, ESPAÑA, 02/06/1999) Graduado en cine en la ESCAC (Escola Superior de Cine y Audiovisuales de Cataluña), debuta con su primer cortometraje El Crit Sord Dels Arbres (2022). En su obra encontramos especial interés por los problemas actuales de la juventud de occidente, sobre todo a nivel de salud mental, en conexión con la dicotomía entre lo que es natural y lo que es industrial o humano. Siempre, pero, tratado desde un peculiar sentido del humor.

ADRIÀ VILUMARA (Barcelona, SPAIN, 1999) He is a recent film graduate from ESCAC (Escola Superior de Cinema I Audiovisuals de Catalunya) and debuts with his first short film The Silent Cry Of The Trees (2022). In his work we find special interest in the current problems of Western youth, especially at the level of mental health, in connection with the dichotomy between what is natural and what is industrial or human. Always, however, treated from a peculiar sense of humor.
