Sinopsis / Synopsis

Lena es una señora de avanzada edad que vive con su hijo de 37 años. Los jueves suele ir a jugar una partida de cartas con sus amigas, pero muchas veces no puede ir.

Lena is an elderly lady who lives with her son 37 years. Thursdays usually go to play a game of cards with her friends, but often can’t go.

ISAAC BERROKAL (Madrid, 1978) es un creador independiente que escribe, dirige y monta sus propios trabajos. Se destaca por ejemplo “Today is Sunday” donde se adentra por primera vez en la temática social con la historia de una anciana enfrentada a la soledad y el destino, un corto que por su original producción se llevó el premio del publico en el X Festival internacional de cortometrajes Ciudad de Soria. Además este cortometraje fue incluido en el libro “cine en corto” del escritor y critico de arte Juan Antonio Moreno y también fue corto del mes de octubre en la revista Cinemania 2009.

ISAAC BERROKAL (Madrid, 1978) is an independent creator who writes, directs and sets up their own jobs. It is notable for example "Today is Sunday," which explores for the first time on social issues with the story of an elderly faced loneliness and fate, a short for its original production that won the audience prize at the X Festival Shorts International Soria City. Furthermore, this film has been included in the book "short film", by the writer and art critic Juan Antonio Moreno and was also short of October in the journal Cinemania 2009.
