Sinopsis / Synopsis

En el comer, en el orar y en el follar todo es empezar… Ante esta escatológica sentencia, se esconde toda una filosofía de vida: La de Genaro Blanco, un personaje del León de los años 20, homeless bebedor y putero, que murió mientras se aliviaba borracho de un apretón repentino, atropellado en la noche de un Jueves Santo de 1929 por el primer camión de basura que hubo en León. Desde entonces, cada Jueves Santo se le recuerda en una hetedoroxa procesión (¿alguna no lo es..?) por las calles de León. Bendito Canalla, la Verdadera Historia de Genarín, un filón inagotable lleno de contenidos irreverentes, extravagantes, irónicos y grotescos que forman parte del catálogo de usos y costumbres de la picaresca española. Dice alguien en la película: "..Nada mejor que el orujo tormentoso, artillero y bestia para hablar de tú a los Dioses. ¡Que hay que empezar a hablarles de tú..!"

Damned Swine, the True Story of Genarin, a very heterodox film that, in a false documentary way, describes the story of Genaro Blanco, a strange character of the '20 in Leon (Spain), a traveling skin dealer, whore picker, fun-loving and hardened drinker, that died in Maundy Thursday night of 1929 while, drunker and having a shit, was run over by the first garbage truck in Leon... This film describes too the deep impression this event caused and the next promotion of Genarin to the holy pagan altar, the ludic and irreverent celebrations, most of them happened in the luxurious private residence of a local wastrel man, Cachondonia, where bohemian and night-swine life, lived together... Eventually it's showed the world of the people that actually have "devoted servant" of Genarin who, in the eighty dead's anniversary, go on celebrating his name. Damned Swine, the True Story of Genarin, is a complete gold mine with a lot of irreverent, outlandish and grotesque meanings that take part of the Spanish traditional idiosyncrasy. Anyway, to know who was Genarin as a man and Genarin as a legend ... "There's nothing like stormy, heavy, brutish orujo to start speaking with gods tete-a-tete... (Cause it's time we treat them in that way, TETE-A-TETE..!)" Praying, eating and fucking: it's all a question of beginning ...

NACHO CHUECA (Granada, 1970) De formación arquitecto, (como Fritz Lang, Peter Greenaway o Fernando Colomo...) Nacho Chueca, granadino de nacimiento, es productor y realizador independiente con amplia experiencia en el mundo del cortometraje, documental, videoclip y publicidad. Desde 2004 es la cabeza visible de LIPSSYNC FILMS, productora que se encarga de dar forma a proyectos modernos y audaces como BENDITO CANALLA, una película que desde León, (tierra de su socia y productora Asunción Blanco), "deconstruye" el mito de Genaro Blanco, el borracho elevado a los altares... Otras perlas reseñables del señor Chueca son: LUZ (cortometraje 16 mm. 1999) PSICOKINESIS (cortometraje BETACAM. 1997) MUERTES ABSURDAS, no somos nadie..
