Sinopsis / Synopsis

En 1864, Gustavo Adolfo Bécquer, se retira al Monasterio de Veruela. Allí se sumerge en el paisaje del mítico Moncayo, y en especial en Trasmoz "El Pueblo de las Brujas", el único pueblo oficialmente maldito de España.

“Bécquer and the Witches” is a feature documentary about the most romantic spanish poet Bécquer, and his time around Trasmoz, the witches village, the only doomed village by the Church in Spain.

ELENA CID (ESPAÑA) es una directora aragonesa que comienza sus estudios alejada del audiovisual, licenciándose en Ciencias Químicas y en Márketing y Publicidad. A pesar de ello, pronto comienza a escribir, dirigir y producir cortometrajes de varios géneros: "Intuición"-Thriller/Ciencia Ficción; "eL sÉptimO aRte" - Comedia; "Amne" - Thriller, siendo seleccionados en diversos festivales y obteniendo premios al mejor corto, edición o guión. Se traslada a Madrid en 2005 cuando la llaman para el arranque del programa Cuarto Milenio para la cadena de televisión Cuatro. Compagina su trabajo primero como editora y luego coordinadora en el área de imagen de Plural Entertainment con la realización del corto de ciencia ficción“La Cara B” y la comedia “Ficus”.

ELENA CID (SPAIN) is a director from Aragón (Spain), graduated in Chemistry and Marketing. She starts making shortfilms and wins awards on best script, production and edition. She works on Spanish TV channel Cuatro/T5 seven years as Image Coordinator, and later she builds the Spanish production company Disentropic Films based in Zaragoza.
