Sinopsis / Synopsis

An astronaut braves a pioneering solo mission into deep space, leaving behind her loving husband. Through disjointed communications, she discovers her life on Earth has changed forever. Short sci-fi drama on the elasticity of time, love and loss.

ANDY SOWERBY (REINO UNIDO, 1984). Cineasta y artista visual. A través de la práctica, ha desarrollado un estilo experimental e innovador de contar historias y utilizar sus recursos. Sus películas suelen oscilar entre lo narrativo y lo abstracto o expresivo. Graduado por la Newport Film School UK, sus películas se han proyectado en múltiples festivales, incluyendo el London Short Film Festival, el Atlanta Film Festival o el BBC Music Video Festival. "The Jump" es su decimoquinto trabajo audiovisual.

ANDY SOWERBY (UNITED KINGDOM, 1984). Filmmaker and visual artist. Andy has a process driven practice, through an experimental and innovative approach to story, equipment and materials. His films often flow between story driven narratives and abstract, expressive work. Graduate of Newport Film School UK, his films have been screened internationally and selected for a variety of film festivals including London Short Film Festival, Atlanta Film Festival, and BBC Music Video Festival. "The Jump" is his fifteenth audiovisual work.
