Sinopsis / Synopsis

Ante la incapacidad de la policía para ayudar, Emily se encarga de investigar la desaparición de su compañero. Una pequeña pista la lleva a descubrir un mundo no regulado y muy alejado del suyo. Pronto, el viaje de Emily para reconectarse se convierte en una lucha por la supervivencia.

With the police unable to help, Emily takes it upon herself to investigate the disappearance of her partner. A small clue leads her to the discovery of an unregulated world far removed from her own. Soon, Emily's journey to reconnect becomes a struggle for survival.

Alex Kyrou ha dirigido tres cortometrajes que se han proyectado en festivales internacionales de cine. "Blank Shores" recibió financiación de la BFI Network y atrajo la atención de Georgina Campbell, ganadora de un BAFTA, para interpretar el papel principal. El cortometraje "White Awake", de gran crudeza emocional, se exhibió en NewFilmmakers Los Ángeles y en el Festival de Cine TriForce de Londres, y ganó el premio al mejor cortometraje BAME y a la mejor fotografía en el concurso FILMSshort.Atraído por el cine visceral, a Alex le apasionan las historias que exploran los problemas de salud mental y los personajes marginales. Está buscando dirigir largometrajes y dramas televisivos.

Alex Kyrou has directed three short films that have screened at international film festivals. “Blank Shores” was awarded funding by the BFI Network and attracted the attention of BAFTA-winning Georgina Campbell to play the leading role.The emotionally raw short film “White Awake” showcased at NewFilmmakers Los Angeles and the TriForce Film Festival in London, winning Best BAME Short Film and Best Cinematography in the FILMSshort competition. Attracted to visceral filmmaking, Alex is passionate about stories that explore mental health issues and outsider characters. He is looking to direct feature-length films and television dramas.
