Sinopsis / Synopsis

Ocho años después de empezarlo, dos cineastas terminan el documental que cuenta la peripecia completa de una película genuina y arriesgada. SHEVERNATZE es una especie de milagro fílmico, pero con buen final. Y su documental es un arma de venta para que el film siga vivo y sus promotores traten de recuperar la inversión.

Eight years after they started, two filmmakers finished the documentary which tells the unexpected story of a risky and genuine film. SHEVERNATZE is a kind of cinematic miracle, but with a great ending. And its documentary is a sales tool for keeping the film alive and trying the producers to recuperate their inversion.

HUGO SERRA (Madrid, 11/09/1974) Estudió Ingeniería Técnica de Sonido e Imagen y un Máster en Producción Audiovisual. Como director y productor, tiene en su haber “Brogma #1” (1999), “Brogma 2 - Cómo no se seleccionó” (2001), “Micro-film” (2001), “Baratometrajes: Películas de Bajo Presupuesto” (2005) y “El Momento Justo” (2009). Ha sido productor ejecutivo de otros multipremiados trabajos en cine, como “Anonymous” (2006), “The End” (2008), “Tchang” (2010) y el largo “Shevernatze” (2009), asi como videoclips, corporativos, publicidad, making of y trabajos freelance para empresas y productoras.

DANIEL SAN ROMÁN (Madrid, 08/09/1978) Estudió Bachelor Arts en Portsmouth (UK) En su etapa inglesa dirigió varios documentales: “Batala”(1999), “Seeking Sanctuary” (2001), “Deconstructing Palfi” (2003) y “On every Street” (2003) Tras volver a España co-realizó y co-produjo “Baratometrajes: Películas de bajo Presupuesto” (2005) junto a Hugo Serra. Ha trabajado como realizador y montador en diversas cadenas y programas como Fly Music (TDT), “Fahrenheit” (Canal 9), “Los Imposibles” (Telemadrid), “Brigada Policial” (La Sexta) y “Mujeres, Hombres y Viceversa” (Tele 5) Con su productora CutFilms también realiza trabajos de encargo para importantes marcas.

HUGO SERRA (Madrid, 09/11/1974) He studied a Sound and Image Engineering and has a degree in Audiovisual Production. As a director and producer, he is credited with “Brogma #1” (1999), “Brogma 2 - Cómo no se seleccionó” (2001), “Micro-film” (2001), “Baratometrajes: Películas de Bajo Presupuesto” (2005) and “El Momento Justo” (2009) He's been the executive producer of many other multi-prize-winning cinema projects like “Anonymous” (2006), “The End” (2008), “Tchang” (2010) and the feature-length “Shevernatze” (2009), as well as music videos, corporate videos, publicity, “making of” and freelance work for producers and companies.

DANIEL SAN ROMÁN (Madrid, 09/08/1978) He studied a Bachelor Arts in Portsmouth (UK) During his time in England he directed various documentaries: “Batala” (1999), “Seeking Sanctuary” (2001), “Deconstructing Palfi” (2003) and “On every Street” (2003) On returning to Spain he co-directed and produced: “Baratometrajes: Películas de Bajo Presupuesto” (2005) together with Hugo Serra. He has worked as a director and editor for various TV channels and programmes, such as: Fly Music (TDT), “Fahrenheit” (Canal 9), “Los Imposibles” (Telemadrid), “Brigada Policial” (La Sexta) and “Mujeres, Hombres y Viceversa” (Tele 5) With his production company CutFilms he also does contract work for important brands.
