La despiadada "Ruth" Avery es una estudiante de derecho de primer año en la competitiva Universidad de Port Ridge. Es analítica, se reserva para sí misma y está acostumbrada a ser la mejor en lo que hace. Pero este año ha sido desafiada por el favorito del público, Matthew Baxtor. Cuando surge una oportunidad de pasantía con Matthew como la primera opción, Ruth debe decidir qué es más importante para ella; amistad o ganar.

Ruthless ‘Ruth’ Avery is a first–year law student at the competitive Port Ridge University. She is analytical, she keeps to herself, and she’s used to being the best at what she does. But this year she’s challenged by crowd favorite, Matthew Baxtor. When an internship opportunity arises with Matthew as the top choice, Ruth must decide what’s more important to her; friendship or winning.

 DARRIEN LAND (Florida, ESTADOS UNIDOS DE AMÉRICA, 1994) es director de fotografía, escritor y director. Darrien se graduó recientemente de Ringling College of Art & Design, con especialización en Cine y especialización en Escritura Creativa. Darrien coescribió, dirigió y editó la película 'RUTHLESS' Ella y su compañera de escritura Sydney trabajaron en la idea durante más de un año, y Darrien ha estado extremadamente involucrado en la vida de Ruth desde entonces. Darrien quería contar esta historia como una advertencia para cualquiera, especialmente las mujeres, en un campo competitivo. El objetivo de la historia es decir que trabajes duro para tener éxito en tu vida, pero no pierdas la compasión y la bondad por hacerlo.

 DARRIEN LAND (Florida, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, 1994) is a cinematographer, writer, and director. Darrien recently graduated from Ringling College of Art & Design, majoring in Film and minoring in Creative Writing.Darrien co-wrote, directed, and edited the film ’RUTHLESS’. Her and her writing partner Sydney worked on the idea for over a year, and Darrien has been extremely invested in Ruth’s life ever since. Darrien wanted to tell this story as a cautionary tale to anyone, especially women, in a competitive field. The goal of the story is to say to work hard to succeed in your life, but don’t lose your compassion and kindness to do so.
