Una película documental que recupera, veinticinco años después, la vida cotidiana de las viudas de mineros fallecidos en una tragedia minera en 1995.

A documentary film that recovers, 25 years later after a tragedy in a coal mine, the everyday life, evolution, and the current situation of a group of widows of miners.

JOSÉ ANTONIO QUIRÓS (Asturias, eSPAÑA, 1963) Licenciado en CC. de la Información Universidad Complutense (Madrid) y diplomado en Historia del cine (Univ Valladolid). Inició su labor cinematográfica en Filmoteca Española. En 1987 ganó el primer premio de guión por “Trabajo de amor que se pierde”. Entre 1991 y 1994 dirigió cuatro cortometrajes: Festival Internacional Mostra de Venecia, y Vevey (Suiza). En 1996 produce y dirige “Solas en laTierra”. En 1999 dirige “Pídele cuentas al rey”,estrenada en 100 salas comerciales y ganadora del premio del público en Valladolid y 6 premios más. En 2003 produce y dirige el documental “Gran Casal, me como el mundo”. En 2008 presenta “Cenizas del cielo”, estrenada en 70 salas de cine en España y en 15 salas de cine de Alemania; además de ganar el Grand Prix Earth Toyota Festival Internacional de Cine de Tokio entre otros. En 2010 dirige “Objetivo Braila”(2010),“Desde Rusia con dolor”, (2011).“Despoblados” (2012). Entre 2014 y 2018 dirige 9 capítulos de la miniserie “el Paraíso”, y dos largometrajes independientes: “Todo el tiempo del mundo” y “Los desorientados”.

JOSE ANTONIO QUIROS (Asturias, Spain, 1963) Bachelor of CC. of Information from the Complutense University (Madrid) and a diploma in film history (Univ Valladolid). He began his cinematographic work in Spanish Film Library. In 1987, he won the first prize of script for "Work of love that is lost". Between 1991 and 1994 he directed four short films which were at the Venice International Festival of Venice, and Vevey (Switzerland). In 1996 he produced and directed "Solas en laTierra". In 1999 he directed "Ask the King for Accounts",released in 100 commercial movie theatres, and also won the Award of the public in Valladolid and 6 more awards. In 2003 he produced and directed the documentary “Gran Casal, me como el mundo”. In 2008 he presented "Ashes from Heaven", premiered in 70 movie theaters in Spain and in 15 movie theaters in Germany. Winner of the Grand PrixEarth Toyota Tokyo International Film Festival among others. In 2010 he directs "Target Braila" (2010),"From Russia with pain" (2011)and "Depopulated"(2012). Between 2014 and 2018 he directed 9 episodes of the miniseries "Paradise", and two independent feature films "All the time in the world" and "The disoriented."
