Sinopsis / Synopsis

Un niño extremadamente pobre y brillante recibe el encargo escolar de presentar un kandil (farol), pero se enfrenta a un obstáculo económico. Sin que él lo sepa, la creatividad de su madre le ayuda a superar el reto.

An extremely poor, bright child receives a school task to present a kandil (Lantern) but faces a financial obstacle. Unbeknownst to him, his mother's creative approach helps him overcome the challenge.

SUMEDH JADHAV es un cineasta independiente con una década de experiencia. Tras licenciarse en cinematografía por el Instituto Zima, empezó a colaborar en programas de televisión como "Dance India Dance" y "Sare gama pa". Más tarde trabajó con Dharma Productions, Amir Khan Films y destacadas películas de Bollywood como "Dangal" y "Ye jawani hai deewani", junto con el programa de televisión "Satyamev Jayate" y la serie de Netflix "CAT". Ahora, su primer cortometraje independiente, "SUGHAD One's Fulfillment", supone un paso importante en el avance de su carrera cinematográfica.

SUMEDH JADHAV is an independent filmmaker with a decade of experience. After graduating from Zima Institute in film making, he started assisting in TV shows like “Dance India Dance’ and ‘Sare gama pa’. He later worked with Dharma Productions, Amir Khan Films, and prominent Bollywood films like ‘Dangal’ and ‘Ye jawani hai deewani’, along with TV show ‘Satyamev Jayate’ and Netflix series ‘CAT’. Now, his first independent short film, “SUGHAD One’s Fulfillment”, marks a significant step in advancing his filmmaking career.
