In this shocking and stylistically assured drama a calf is about to be born. The accident that suddenly strikes the farm illuminates the trauma which has been tucked away and deafened by the noise of the farm and its constant need for tending. A gut-wrenching film from way out in the countryside, a place where the worst things are silenced.
