En la Universidad de Belén (Palestina), un grupo de chicas comienzan a ensayar “La casa de Bernarda Alba” junto a su profesora de español.

At Bethlehem University (Palestine), a group of female students begin the rehearsals for playing "The house of Bernarda Alba", under the direction of their Spanish language professor.

CRISTINA ANDREU CUEVAS (Casablanca, MARRUECOS, 08/06/1960) ha trabajado como directora y guionista de cortometrajes; script y asistente de dirección en largometrajes. Es directora de uno de los cuatro episodios del Largometraje “Delirios de Amor”, protagonizado por Fernando Fernán-Gómez y Rosario Flores. Y guionista y directora del largometraje Brumal, basado en “Los altillos de Brumal” de Cristina Fernández Cubas, por el que fue nominada al Goya a la Mejor Dirección Novel. Incorporación en los inicios de Canal Plus diseñando proyectos y formatos. Dirección y guión sobre personajes de la cultura española. Lectora de guiones para la productora Sogetel. Dirección y guión de documentales de viajes. Documentales para la televisión Arte. Incorporación al Departamento de Especiales de Canal Plus. Dirección, guión y edición de especiales sobre: cine, making of de películas; documentales de arte... Directora de programas LOCALIA T.V. Ha sido miembro de la Junta Directiva de CIMA (Asociación de Mujeres del Audiovisual) y de Médicos del Mundo. Ha escrito el libro sobre Isabel Coixet,” Una mujer bajo la influencia”. Profesora de la Escuela de Cine y TV de la Universidad Veritas (Costa Rica).

CRISTINA ANDREU CUEVAS (Casablanca, MOROCCO, 06/08/1960) has worked as a director and screenwriter of short films; script and assistant director on feature films. She is the director of one of the four episodes of the film "Delirios de amor" starring Fernando Fernán-Gómez and Rosario Flores. She is also the screenwriter and director of “Brumal”, based on "Los altillos de Brumal" by Cristina Fernández Cubas, for which she was nominated for a Goya for Best New Director. Incorporation in the beginnings of Canal Plus designing projects and formats. Has directed and written about characters in the Spanish culture. Script reader for the producer Sogetel. Direction and script of travel documentaries. Documentaries for Arte television network. Incorporation to the Dept. of Specials of Canal Plus. Direction, script and editing of specials about films, "making of" of films, art documentaries... Program Director of LOCALIA T.V. She was a member of the Board of CIMA (Association of Women of the Audiovisual) and of Doctors of the World. She has written the book on Isabel Coixet, “A Woman Under the Influence". Professor of the School of Film and TV of Veritas University (Costa Rica).
