Sinopsis / Synopsis

Hong Ying es una mujer china de mediana edad, que padeció polio durante la infancia. Su marido y su hijo acaban de fallecer en un accidente de coche, de repente se ha convertido en una viuda. Ahora se sustenta conduciendo un pedicab, un triciclo taxi. Sin embargo no tiene el permiso para fines comerciales, tan sólo sirve como vehículo para discapacitados. Aún así Hong Ying sigue llevando a pasajeros hasta que un idea se encuentra con la policía.

Hong Ying is a mid aged Chinese woman who was attacked by polio in her childhood. Few days ago, a traffic accident killed her husband and son. All of a sudden, she became a widow. Now, she lives a life by driving a pedicab. However, the pedicab Hong Ying drives is not allowed for any commercial purpose, only permitted as a non-commercial vehicle for disabled people. Nonetheless, Hong Ying continued to take passengers as usual, till one day, she met the patrolling traffic police.

LI JI (Qiqihar, CHINA 13/03/1983) se graduó en la Universidad en 2007. Trabajó para Ethiopian Airlines y Air New Zealand como auxiliar de vuelo. Después de más de 4 años volando, estudió cinematografía en la Academia de Teatro de Shanghai porque quería expresar ciertos fenómenos de la sociedad mediante imágenes, ya que considera la imagen como la forma más eficiente de expresar sus pensamientos por todo el mundo.

LI JI (Qiqihar, CHINA 03/13/1983) has graduated from college at 2007 with the major of Business English. Then, he went to the Ethiopian Airlines and Air New Zealand to become a cabin crew respectively. After more than 4 years flying he entered into Shanghai Theatre Academy to study Film making because of he wants to express some phenomenon in the society by image. He thought only the image can be the most efficient way to tell his thoughts all over the world.
