Sinopsis / Synopsis
Baratometrajes 2.0 es un “más que un documental” que radiografía el cine en España, dando protagonismo y voz a cineastas de los films de bajo presupuesto, a promotores culturales que hacen las cosas de otra manera, y a profesionales de la distribución y exhibición, obteniendo el retrato casi perfecto de cómo podría ser el futuro del cine hecho en España.
Baratometrajes 2.0 is a “more than a documentary” that radiograph the cinema in Spain, giving a lead role and voice to filmmakers of low-budget films, to cultural promoters which make things differently, and to distribution and exhibition professionals, obtaining the (almost) perfect portrait of what could be the future of cinema made in Spain.

HUGO SERRA (Madrid, 11/09/1974) En sus inicios produjo y dirigió varios cortos premiados como “Brogma #1” (1999) y “Brogma 2” (2001). En su productora Feng Shui Films, produjo los cortos “Bota de Oro” (2005) y “Anonymous” (2006) y codirigió el documental “Baratometrajes” (2005). Como freelance en Prosopopeya, participó en los proyectos de Eduardo Chapero-Jackson: “The End” (2008) y “A Contraluz” (2009). También produjo y distribuyó el largometraje independiente “Shevernatze. Una Epopeya Marcha Atrás” (estrenado en 2009) y los cortos “El Momento Justo” (2009) y “Tchang” (2010), de Gonzalo Visedo, compatibilizándolo con encargos, consultoría y docencia. En 2014 estrena “Baratometrajes 2.0”, junto a Daniel San Román.
DANIEL SAN ROMÁN (Madrid) cursó en Reino Unido los estudios de Comunicación Audiovisual y rodó varios documentales. Tras volver a España en 2003, participó en varios proyectos de la productora Feng Shui Films, y junto a Hugo Serra, realizó y produjo el cortometraje documental “Baratometrajes” (2005). Ambos ahora han materializado el largometraje documental “BARATOmetrajes 2.0 - El Futuro del Cine Hecho en España” (2014). Daniel también ha trabajado en diversas cadenas y programas de TV como realizador y editor. Su amplia experiencia profesional le llevó a crear su propia productora, Cutfilms, con la que ha realizado numerosos videoclips y trabajos publicitarios.
HUGO SERRA (Madrid, SPAIN, 09/11/1974) In his early years as film producer Hugo Serra produced and directed several award-winning shorts as: "Brogma #1" (1999) and "Brogma 2" (2001). In 2002 he founded Feng Shui Films (his old production company) in wich he produced numerous music videos as well as short-films like "Golden Boot" (2005) and "Anonymous" (2006). Along these years and joining in Daniel San Román, they produced and directed the award winning documentary "Baratometrajes" (2005). As freelance in Prosopopeya he participated in Eduardo Chapero-Jackson’s projects: "The End" (2008) and "A Contraluz" (2009). He also produced and distributed the independent feature "Shevernatze"(released in 2009) and the shorts " The Right Moment" (2009) and "Tchang "(2010), both directed by Gonzalo Visedo. He has been involved too in commissioned works, consulting and teaching. In 2014 he team up again with his accomplice in the past Daniel and releases "Baratometrajes 2.0".
DANIEL SAN ROMÁN (Madrid) Experience began in the UK, where he cursed BAHONS in media and communication. Along his student’s years, Daniel filmed several documentaries. After returning to Spain in 2003, with a multitasking profile, he started working as a freelancer in various projects as well as roles from script-writer to creative, director, cameraman, editor... In 2005, he directed and produced the award-winning short documentary "Baratometrajes" (2005) among his comrade Hugo Serra. Both have now produced the feature film documentary "BARATOmetrajes 2.0 -The Future of Cinema Made in Spain" (2014. With a wide experience as film producer and film director, Daniel has also worked on various TV channels and programs as director and editor. His extensive professional background led him to create his own production company, Cutfilms, with which he has made numerous commercials, TV shows, music videos and corporate videos.
