Sinopsis / Synopsis

La ciudad queda a oscuras cuando Ela viaja a su aldea en la Ribeira Sacra. Entre arquitecturas derruidas, contempla su propio paisaje interior en ruinas. Emprender un proyecto en el rural sera la primera piedra de su renovación. Esta Sisife moderna no atiende a cumbres. Caminar es la pregunta.

The city goes dark as Ela travels to her village in the Ribeira Sacra. Among crumbling architecture, she contemplates her equally ruined inner landscape. Starting a rural project becomes the first stone of her renewal. This modern Sisyphus seeks no summit. To walk forward is the open question.

Biofilmografia / Biofilmography

CLAUDIA MACHADO (A Caniza, España, 2004) Estudiante de Comunicación Audiovisual y cofundadora de la cooperativa Terra Audiovisual. Despois da luz es su primer trabajo como directora y directora de fotografía.

JUANMA LODO (Galicia, España, 1983). Artista multimedia, realizador audiovisual, músico experimental y docente gallego. Ha dirigido y producido varios cortometrajes documentales y de ficción, destacando Live Pixel, Dead Line / Nexø y el proyecto transmedia Cachopou.

RUTH SABUCEDO (Ourense, España). Licenciada en Psicopedagogía. Inició su trayectoria en la dirección con el cortometraje Irreductibles. A saia da Carolina es su segundo cortometraje. Actualmente se encuentra en el desarrollo de su primer largometraje, Imago.

JUANMA LODO (Galicia, Spain, 1983). Galician multimedia artist, audiovisual filmmaker, experimental musician, and educator. He has directed and produced several documentary and fiction short films, notably *Live Pixel, Dead Line / Nexø* and the transmedia project *Cachopou*.

RUTH SABUCEDO (Ourense, Spain). She holds a degree in Educational Psychology. She began her directing career with the short film *Irreductibles*. *A saia da Carolina* is her second short film. She is currently developing her first feature film, *Imago*.
