VARYA YAKOVLEVA (Moscú, Rusia, 08/09/1983) Artista rusa, actualmente en el exilio, afincada en Francia. Se licenció en la Facultad de Arte de la Universidad Estatal Rusa de Cinematografía y en la Facultad de Dirección de Animación de la Escuela-Estudio SHAR, Rusia. Trabajó como directora artística de animación en el largometraje de animación de Andrey Khrzhanovsky "La Nariz o la Conspiración de los Mavericks". Ha dirigido 4 cortometrajes y ha recibido varias selecciones y premios en festivales internacionales de cine de animación, largometrajes e ilustración.
VARYA YAKOVLEVA (Moscow, Russia, 08/09/1983) Artist from Russia, now in exil, based in France. She graduated from the Art faculty of Russian State University of Cinematography and from the faculty of Animation Directing at School-studio SHAR, Russia. She worked as an art-director of animation at the animated feature film by Andrey Khrzhanovsky “The Nose or the Conspiracy of Mavericks”. She had directed 4 short films and received several selections and awards at international festivals of animated and feature films and illustration.
