Sinopsis / Synopsis

En el Courel, la vida regresa una y otra vez sobre las huellas del fuego. Mientras el bosque renace, sus habitantes se enfrentan al desafío de reconstruir un territorio cuyas heridas van mucho más allá de las cenizas.

In O Courel, life returns again and again to the traces left by fire. As the forest begins to regenerate, its inhabitants face the challenge of rebuilding a land whose wounds reach far beyond the ashes.

MIGUEL G. ORIVE (Zaragoza, España, 02/12/1985) Cineasta conocido por un estilo documental comprometido y poético. En 2020 funda Konzéntrika Films, productora que usa el cine como herramienta de reflexión. Después de los cortos Hamza y Quedará la tierra, en 2024 presenta Sintrópica, su primer largometraje documental, que invita a revisar la relación entre el ser humano y la naturaleza, en busca de una mirada que se aparte del antropocentrismo y una posición tradicional de dominación. En 2026 presenta Brotes Novos, un cortometraje documental que profundiza en la compleja situación de los incendios en el Caurel gallego.

MIGUEL G. ORIVE (Zaragoza, Spain, 02/12/1985) is a filmmaker known for a committed, poetic documentary style. In 2020 he founded Konzéntrika Films, a production company that uses cinema as a tool for reflection. After the short films Hamza and Quedará la tierra, in 2024 he presented Sintrópica, his first feature-length documentary, which invites a reconsideration of the relationship between human beings and nature, in search of a perspective that moves away from anthropocentrism and a traditional stance of domination. In 2026 he presents Brotes Novos, a short documentary that delves into the complex situation of the wildfires in the Galician Caurel.
