En una sociedad distópica, una abuela intenta pasar más tiempo con su nieta, pero una serie de eventos convierten lo que pudo haber sido una tarde perfecta en otra cosa.
In a dystopian society a grandmother wants to spend more time with her granddaughter, but a series of events turns what seems to be a perfect afternoon into something else.
Neto Villalobos Brenes (Costa Rica, 1979) se gradúa en Sociología de la Universidad de Costa Rica y posteriormente Dirección Cinematográfica en Barcelona. Ha participado en talleres como Berlinale Talent Campus de Berlín y Buenos Airesy “Cómo se cuenta un cuento” de Gabriel García Márquez. Su ópera prima Por las Plumas estrena en el Festival de Toronto y San Sebastián.Su segunda película, Cascos Indomables, la escribe en la Residencia de la Cinéfondation del Festival de Cannes y también estrena enToronto. También co-dirige el cortometraje “El Gran Líbano” que inaugura La Quincena de Realizadores de la 70 edición del Festival de Cannes.
Neto Villalobos Brenes (Costa Rica, 1979) graduated in Sociology from the University of Costa Rica, and Film Direction in Barcelona. He has participated in “How to Tell a Story?” by Gabriel García Márquezand Berlinale and Buenos Aires Talent Campus. His first feature Por las Plumas was premiered in Toronto and San Sebastianand won Best Central American Film and Best Director in Guatemala and Best Script in Colombia. He co-directed the short film El Gran Líbano opening the Director's Fortnight at Cannes Film Festival. His 2nd feature film, Cascos Indomables, premiered in Toronto and was part of Cannes Cinéfondation Residence.
